An award-winning, published photographer and art consultant living in the New York City Metro area of Northern New Jersey, Joe is based in Paramus, NJ and Suffern, NY. Specializing in commercial, fashion, editorial, and conceptual portrait photography, he is also often retained by artists and fine art collectors as a photographer and a writer.  Work with artists and collectors includes photographic reproduction and cataloging of art for books, magazines, websites and promotional materials, as well as the production of academic presentations and abstracts.

In addition to his photography & art consulting, Joe is the Director of a by-appointment 9,000-sq. ft. retail art gallery in Paramus, NJ,  specializing in fine art and objects from the mid-19th to mid-20th centuries.

Joe volunteers as President of the Board of Directors for the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts (RMAA), a 50-year-old, non-profit arts organization. Operating in Ringwood Manor State Park, the RMAA hold exhibits and events throughout the year for young artists, emerging artists, and its members. 

Always seeking to encourage art work that is of merit, Joe is a recurring judge for local and regional art shows and programs, including the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Over the last few years, many pieces recommended by his Scholastic Art Adjudication panel have gone on to win top national awards.
